Our Aviation Maintenance Professional (AMP) Program is your gateway into the essential world of aircraft maintenance.
This immersive 12-month, 59-quarter-credit program is delivered on-campus at Hillsboro Aero Academy and offers the balance of hands-on training and technical instruction. You’ll gain deep familiarity with aircraft systems, structures, and powerplants - equipping you with the skills to meet FAA A&P certification standards and start working in the field immediately.
Certifications that set you apart
Graduates of our program are eligible to take the FAA mechanic certification examinations to obtain their Mechanic certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings —the gold standard credential in aviation maintenance. This certification opens doors to a range of maintenance careers in commercial, private, and corporate aviation sectors.

Airplane Training Campuses
Professional airplane pilot training at two dedicated campuses
Our airplane pilot career training takes place on two campuses in Oregon in the spectacular Pacific Northwest region of the United States. Each has their own unique identity and flight environment, but both offer top-notch facilities for ground and simulator training, experienced flight instructors, and diverse and well-maintained aircraft fleets.
Hillsboro (HIO) Campus
The campus is also only 90 minutes from the beach, which can make for a perfect weekend getaway. With nearby student housing available, you can also connect with other Hillsboro students and become part of the community.
Redmond (RDM) Campus
Located just north of the major outdoor destination of Bend, OR, this campus is the ideal setting for the outdoor enthusiast, from summer hikes in the Cascade peaks to world-class skiing in the winter.
